Open the setup.exe file in your game folder. Select your graphics card and resolution. Try different combinations.

Enter the game, configure your hotkeys, and press OK. Exit the game via the "Exit to Windows" button. Hotkeys will not be saved if you exit using ALT+F4.

This issue can be resolved by changing the graphics device in Setup.exe.

Close all game clients. Remove the "Read-Only" attribute from the game folder and restart the patcher.

1️⃣ Enable Windows XP (SP3) compatibility mode if you're using Windows 7/8.
2️⃣ Use Windows 7 compatibility mode if you're on Windows 8.1/10.
3️⃣ Run the client as an administrator.

The easiest way is to use a Windows emulator such as Parallels Desktop.

In Setup.exe, uncheck the "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" option.

Ensure there are no spaces or special characters in the game folder path. The game should be installed in a simple directory, such as C:\RO.

The patcher cannot find the configuration file. Make sure it is named Newstyle Patcher.exe and is located inside the game folder.

If you're using an older OS (Windows XP, 7, 8.1), open the Support\Patcher folder and follow the instructions in the readme file.
If errors persist, install Internet Explorer 11 and set it as the default browser.
